That’s where they officially join the league for the first time — and where we track referrals.

On that product page, there’s a required field labeled: “Who referred you?”

They type your name. Boom. Done. Referral locked in.

⚠️ If your name isn’t in that box? No credit. No exceptions. Blame your friend, not the league.

1. They must be a brand new player to UPL Hampton Roads
   
2. They must purchase the First-Time Player Dues
   
3. Your name must be correctly entered in the referral box
   
4. Their payment must clear — no pending, no IOUs, no “I’ll pay next week”
   

That's it, you just earned yourself a free night.

Then sadly, you get nothing. Entering who referred them is required at check out.

We can only track what’s on the order — no retroactive credits, no “but I swear I told them."

If they told you they would sign-up via the referral program and then accidently or on purpose, they sign-up and join directly then no-one will receive a referral credit.

This keeps the system clean and fair for everyone.
